Cherry Bomb - Circa Waves
Liverpool’s indie trailblazers Circa Waves have announced a new single and unveiled the second chapter of their latest album, Death & Love Pt 2. The album is due out on October 24th. “I’d written so much stuff after all the heart incident stuff – there was a release of creativity.” Get ready for lots more new music from the quartet soon.
City Lights - Flair
Flair continues to light up Scotland’s alt-rock scene and tear up the rulebook with their latest release, City Lights. Since solidifying their line-up in 2023, this fearless five-piece has been redefining the local alt-music landscape while rapidly gaining national momentum. Their new track is a blissful Summer bop ready to soundtrack the sun.
Over and Over - VONA VELLA
VONA VELLA have been described as “The dreamy harmonising of Everything But The Girl. The propulsive urgency of The Strokes. The lilting folk-pop of The Coral. The introspective songcraft of Belle and Sebastian. The bittersweet, lyrical side-eyes of The Beautiful South.” What more can we say other than it’s true, in abundance? New track Over and Over is impressive, and one for the playlists.
Sunglasses On A Rainy Day - Gunlock
Hailing from Italy, Gunlock have released their debut single Sunglasses On A Rainy Day, a blend of fast-paced indie rock with the softness and intracicies of bands like The Coral. There’s a lot of potential behind the young group, who are already working on piecing together an EP due out later this year.
