Daily J has been making waves since bouncing onto the scene in 2017 with their debut single Sunny Days. Most recently, the Auckland five-piece performed at All Points East and headlined OMEARA in London.
Following a huge 2024, the band have announced their highly anticipated album ‘Scatterbrains’, backed by singles Sunday Stitches and newcomer Cheap Tequila Sunrise. The album is due on 21st Februrary.
The album features their signature upbeat and ear-worm songwriting, which has previously earned them nominations at The Rolling Stone Awards. The latest single Tequila Sunrise is the epitome of everything which makes the group special, bursting with nostalgia and feel-good vibes.
“It’s a reflection on what it was like to be a kid before life got too complicated. So escaping the daily grind and dreaming of a better place,” explains the band.
