Weekly Roundup #44

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Pitch Black - The Amazons

An incredible second single from The Amazons’ forthcoming album, which is shaping up to be their most expansive yet. Pitch Black, particularly, takes influence from blues rock and features a scrumptious riff taking us back to the days of Future Dust.

English Weather - Beren Olivia

English weather. It’s not the greatest at the moment, which feels almost ideal with Beren Olivia’s latest single. English Weather is a funky alt-pop song using weather to describe a relationship and takes inspiration from a whole host of iconic artists.

Charlie - Lola Young, Lil Yachty

A crossover we never knew we needed, but it makes so much sense. Both appearing at YUNGBLUD’s BLUDFEST, Lola Young and Lil Yachty have found a musical spirit between them and come together on Charlie. It’s giving us big Amy Winehouse vibes; we’re big fans.

last night’s mascara - Griff

Griff is seriously the world by storm at the moment, which is unsurprising with her infectious and creative songwriting. Her latest offering could be one of our favourites from her catalogue already, creating a beautiful melody that lingers forever.

This World’s A Giant - Zach Bryan

Hosting two days at Hyde Park next year, due to unparalleled demand, Zach Bryan is one of the biggest folk artists of 2024. Everything he does is like gold dust, feeling so nostalgic in the process. This World’s A Giant is the perfect anthem for seeing off the Autumn in style.
